Established in 2005, The Volunteer Society of The Arc of Tennessee is a donor society created to recognize donors who support the organization with gifts of $150 or more each year.

Honor and memory gifts are another way to support the organization. The Arc will send a special card to those you wish to honor or families of those you wish to remember with your gifts.

All contributions make it possible for The Arc of Tennessee to provide information, advocacy and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc of Tennessee is participating in a new and innovative fundraising program to raise funds for The Arc's movement. "Spread the Word" is a collaborative fundraising and awareness building program offered by The Arc to help state and local chapters increase funds from individual donors.

The campaign utilizes the efficiency of online giving, yet maintains personal contact using email messages and a customized personal web page that campaign participants (volunteers) use to ask their family, friends and co-workers to join them in support of The Arc.

There are no events, tickets, worries or time away from family or work. It does not compete with other events locally or nationally. There is no risk, no permits, no administrative burdens.
